So I have realized that my life is completely and utterly uneventful. Since school has started back, which has only been for two weeks, I literally have done nothing fun. All because of the stupid money situation and the fact that I have a lack of it. I would love to just be able to be like "Oh yeah you want to go out, let's do it," or even "Hey I'm starving let's go get something to eat." But instead I'm more like "Well I've scrounged up .65 cents so I'm going to go get some Ramen." My amazingly exciting day today consists of working on homework because I can't afford to go out with my friend for her 21st birthday...
I really can't wait until I've graduated from college and have a steady job and getting amazing paychecks. Okay, maybe not AMAZING paychecks at first but a steady paycheck would suit me just fine ha ha.
Lisa, you are not alone! my life is sooooooooooo amazingly boring it's sad! You want to know how I spent my weekend? I went down to Cynthiana, KY to visit relatives and felt like it was the 1950's because they don't agree with a black president! I basically spent Friday watching a movie I bought off Amazon! It's called Kiss of the Dragon, it's good if you are a fan of Jet Li! I'm also with you on the 'lack of money' issue! Normally with me, I have to wait until birthdays or christmas to get the dinero or money in Spanish! I would loooooove to get a job soon! I put my application in EVERYWHERE and still no response! I've been so aggressive in trying, that I still get the same response: " We'll call you when something comes up....." I'm like you, I would love to go out and buy myself something every great now and then, like 'Let's go out and see a movie" or "I want to buy that CD". I have saved up $50 dollars from Christmas last year and guess what? my dad needed to borrow 30 of it and he supposedly bought cleaning stuff to clean the house! guess what? I'm out 30 dollars and he didn't do a freakin' thing! I had to clean the house! So i'm going to take my pitiful 20 dollars and go to see that movie The Expendables, it looks kinda good and my favorite actor Jet Li is in it! But I'm sooooooooooooooo with you on the money issue, but if you have a job, that's good, you have money at least coming in!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the money issue! In high school, I could never ask my parents for money because it made me feel guilty that I hadn't earned my own money! To this day, I'm still looking for a job!
ReplyDeleteI don't think your life sounds boring! Now, my life, that's another story!
ReplyDeleteYour life sounds waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than mine! I mean, you probably have a job. I spent my entire summer, every single solitary day looking for one only to put my application in and have them call the next day to say" Sorry, we're not hiring right now. Money's too tight to hire someone!" It just literally sank my hopes to an all new level.I'm the kind of person who remains optimistic about when I get a job, I may get good paychecks, and hopefully have enough to go out and buy myself something every great now and then without having people have to 'borrow' from me! I do apologize if I seem to blog alot, I just have nothing better in my ridiculous sucky life to talk to. I enjoy talking to people near my age instead of people like my mom or aunt, who will comment or insult something if I say it!
